One the the blockbusters from last year, Inception, has been talked about not only for its arcane nested dreamtime storyline, but also for the soundtrack devised by Hans Zimmer.

This was then augmented by an interactive, generative app that took the movie into the mobile realm – which seems to be where all media are converging at the moment. Interestingly, this app was developed with RJDJ, and apparently features beat frequency brain entrainment to boost the dreamy experience.

In the soundtrack to the movie, the Edit Piaf track is explicitly used to signal to the protagonists when it’s time to move through dream levels. However, the below video reveals an interesting sonic twist…
