Ukuleles Ahoy

There are plenty of ukulele groups operating throughout Ireland, and several in Dublin – there’s a meetup in Dun Laoghaire every Saturday, and the Rathfarnham ukulele group (RUGS) meet up every Monday.

There’s also the Ukulele Tuesday meetup which happens (appropriately enough) every Tuesday in the Stag’s Head, Dublin 2 from 8pm until quite late (usually closing time). Although this event has been happening for several years (starting out as just myself and two friends playing in each other’s kitchens), it only recently got its own website at ukulele.ie – which not only provides updates on the group’s activities, but also on other ukulele related events in Ireland as they crop up.
